Silence

Sextus, Sentences 162a (tr. Walter T. Wilson):
Regarding things you do not know, be silent.

περὶ ὧν οὐκ οἶδας σιώπα.

de quibus ignoras tace.
Strict observance of this rule would make the world a very quiet place.
